About Kayleigh

Welcome
Hi, I’m Kayleigh
My story began in a modest neighbourhood marked by challenging relationships filled with conflict, chaos, and unhealthy competition. This had a significant impact on my well-being and I grew up to become quite an anxious and unwell person. That said, there were also wonderful experiences and opportunities, all of which have evidently shaped me into the person I am today.
Despite the difficulties I was a determined student and knew what I wanted in life. Seeing my parents work tirelessly to provide for our family, despite starting so young and lacking the life experience needed to navigate their own challenges, reinforced my desire to turn life into something that worked FOR me.
So I left home at 15 and began mapping the road to the life I wanted. Don’t get me wrong, there were many, many bumps along the way, but each and every challenge has given me experience and lessons that have made me more resilient, adaptable, and equipped to handle whatever comes next.
The next chapter meant finishing my education – and that I did securing my-self with a BA(Hons) degree in Animal Welfare & Behaviour.
Throughout the duration of my studies I had a part time nannying job alongside running my own stables, working with young and problematic horses. This has and always will be one of my deepest passions. Seeing the hard work, sweat and tears you put into a horse who isn’t thriving turn into a horse who is bright eyed, licking their lips, ears pricked and begin to thrive is one of the best feelings in the world!
My intention was to continue this type of work and build a career in it, however, the logistical and financial realities of working WITH horses and owning them became very real, particularly as a young single person. So I made some tough choices…
Get a job that would fund my passion! Looking back, it was a great decision and one that has had significant influence over where I stand today.

Supporting you and your business
How did it all start?
I began my career in sales and advertising in one of the most iconic advertising organisations in the UK. Think big yellow book! It was a fantastic start to my new career and I was led by a truly inspirational team leader. In fact, Maria remains to date, one of the best leaders I have had the pleasure of working with. Kind, compassionate yet results driven. If ever I was to lead, I wanted to lead like her!
Although I had a successful sales career over a number of years, I realised over time that my true interests lay in people and planning. This led me to transition into operations, where I spent 12 years working within a range of micro to corporate organisations, across various industry sectors. Some key highlights for me where shipping some of the most famous racehorses around the world and turning a struggling commercial facilities management company into a thriving success.
In 2019 an opportunity arose for me to leave the office and do something I had always dreamed of, should the logistics and financials work. I opened a small, fully licensed riding school and children’s event space in South Oxfordshire, and I lived the dream once more. It was magical! Kids, ponies, chickens, dogs, rabbits, guineapigs, music, holiday camps…you name it, we had it or did it and had so much fun along the way! But you know what’s coming next don’t you…
The pandemic hit us in March 2020 and forced a temporary closure, and the business, being new, wasn’t eligible for support. Although we had a strong summer that year, once we were allowed to socialise a little more, I anticipated further closures and made the difficult decision to close the school at the end of September.
Coincidentally, I discovered I was expecting my first child around this time and relocated to Hampshire. After having my daughter, Florence (who inspired the name Flo Right), I was ready to return to business. Realising that running a riding school wouldn’t be practical with a new family, I launched Flo Right Business Solutions – a business that would work FOR me!
And I haven’t looked back!
I feel like I have found my calling and embrace everyday I get to work with like-minded business owners who strive to get the best out of their professional and personal lives!
