Trust is Falling: What’s Really Going On Workshop

Trust influences every relationship we have, yet many people feel it is becoming harder than ever to build. From AI-generated content and social media to inconsistent leadership, broken promises, and an endless stream of conflicting information, many of us are questioning what, and who, we can believe.

In this workshop, we’ll explore what trust really means, how our own experiences shape who we trust, and the role psychological safety plays in creating healthy relationships. We’ll also examine how emotionally reactive behaviours, such as blame, avoidance, defensiveness, and inconsistency, quietly erode trust over time.

This isn’t a workshop about politics, technology, or the media. It’s about understanding the human psychology behind trust, why uncertainty changes the way we think and behave, and what each of us can do to become more trustworthy in our personal and professional lives.
